LA LIBERTAD Gordito (4 x 60) has been available from specialist retailers since the beginning of the year. It expands the LA LIBERTAD family (Corona, Robusto, Gran Toro) and adds a fourth format.
Since then, it has been the shortest Vitola in the LA LIBERTAD series and the one with the largest ring gauge, which is particularly flattering. The master blender’s challenge was to adapt the existing, expressive blend to the Gordito format. The results and feedback since January speak for themselves – the blend perfectly suits the short, voluminous format. The positive feedback proves that LA LIBERTAD’s new direction is the right way forward.
LA LIBERTAD was one of the first cigars manufactured in the new VILLIGER de Nicaragua factory. Nicaragua has been the new home of this line since its relaunch in 2021. Apart from the Dominican binder, the cigars are now made from Nicaraguan tobacco.
An exclusive right of first refusal for all participating retailers in the VILLIGER Brand Ambassador Tour 2023 ensured that the cigar could be sold exclusively through them until the end of the year. Anyone who missed out on this opportunity could place an order with their sales representative for the official launch in early January.
