Finally, the time had come, and the gates of the Dortmund Westfalenhallen opened for InterTabac 2022.
Numerous industry exhibitors, importers, and trade visitors met again for personal exchange.
We had to wait long until we could meet our customers, partners, producers, and friends again, which we hadn’t since 2019.
InterTabac is the world’s largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories and our most important annual meeting place. Many traders journeyed long to visit us. This year’s show also proved to have a strong pull on international business.
The first successful day of the trade fair showed that InterTabac continues to be the most important industry get-together.
Following the motto “VILLIGER de Nicaragua,” we proudly presented our new cigars from our factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The “VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua” and
“VILLIGER de Nicaragua Edición Limitada 2022” generated great interest among all visitors. But interest was not the only thing. The trade visitors were unanimous and voted during the three days: The best new release in the “cigar” category of comes from our house. Our latest creation, the “VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua,” is the new “InterTabac Star 2022.” A prize that is awarded once only during the entire fair. The persistent and concentrated work of all employees, whether from Germany, Switzerland, or Nicaragua, paid off in winning this award.
The cigars come in blue 20-count cabinet boxes in Coronita, Robusto, and Toro formats. Furthermore, all boxes come with a new seal of approval that emphasizes the guaranteed Nicaraguan origin.
Another highlight from the “precious gem” category was the “VILLIGER San’Doro Aged 10 Years,” which is also Nicaraguan.
Each box of the VILLIGER San'Doro Claro and Maduro in Churchill format contains five cigars. Worldwide, only 2000 boxes will be available. The storage time has given the tobacco a smooth aroma that expresses delicate, complex nuances.
The new “La Capitana” cigarillos come with a unique filler and enhance our product portfolio of novelties with their club and mini formats.
We express our sincere thanks for the trust of all traders and partners who made our product, the “VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua,” the show’s star.
We are talking about three successful days at the trade fair. They showed us how vital direct exchange is for our industry.
It was overdue for us to talk to our customers’ face-to-face and look them in the eyes.
There is a significant difference between visiting our customers and being a host ourselves.
