VILLIGER used the La Capitana brand for handmade cigars. Four formats were produced in Nicaragua, rolled exclusively with 100 % Nicaraguan tobaccos. The La Capitana cigar brand is now history in Europe. However, new cigarillos with the same name are produced in the VILLIGER factory in Indonesia using only the best Caribbean tobaccos.

La Capitana Mini and Club Cigarillos are made from natural wrapper leaves sourced from certified growers. We source our tobaccos from exclusive growers that have matured them to perfection using natural drying and fermentation.

The natural, additive-free tobacco blend originates from vintage tobaccos that have matured naturally. Exquisite tobacco components such as the Connecticut Seed wrapper, Java Besuki binder and the Caribbean Dark Air Cured filler round off the intense taste experience.

The earthy and nutty flavors of the Caribbean fillers, in combination with a delicate and mild natural wrapper made from Connecticut seeds, complete the excellent overall character of the La Capitana Mini and Club Cigarillos.

La Capitana is available in two versions: the elegant mini and the slightly larger club format. The Mini and Club are packaged in a convenient, attractive, and eye-catching turquoise shoulder box of 20.

La Capitana Mini is the smaller format of this series. The cigarillos typically take five to eight minutes to smoke and deliver a medium-full body. Those who want something bigger, or look for a somewhat longer smoke, are best served with the club format.
