Description
The VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua range is being expanded to include a further size. Since March 2026, it has been available in the Churchill size (7 x 47) from specialist retailers in Germany and Switzerland. With this addition, the range will now comprise six sizes. The Churchill size is also the largest size in the range to date and is considered a classic vitola in the cigar world. The estimated smoking time is stated as at least 90 minutes. It has been available in the USA since April 2025. The blend is medium-bodied. A Ligero filler from Pennsylvania is used as a defining element, intended to give the flavour profile a distinctive note. The cigars are rolled, banded and packaged at the company’s own factory, ‘VILLIGER de Nicaragua’, in Estelí (Nicaragua).
