In the right ambiance, smoking a cigar becomes the companion that allows you to appreciate your present surroundings. Miami and the enjoyment of cigars go hand-in-hand. The sunny weather all year long makes it the perfect city to smoke cigars.

Winters in Miami are cool, with an average of just 65 degrees. Spring and fall are even better times to be outdoors because the weather is cigar paradise. If you are like me and enjoy a cigar in your car, the cigar paradise weather is ideal for rolling down your windows and taking a smooth ride overlooking Miami Beach. In the middle of summer in the Magic City, the heat and the humidity don't allow us to enjoy cigars outdoors during the day. Fortunately, we have a plethora of cigar lounges to escape and continue enjoying our cigars. But any summer evening is an open invitation to light up your stogie and immerse yourself in all the tobacco flavor nuances.

Little-Havana

Miami's strong Cuban heritage further enhances the city's smoking experience for cigar aficionados. Cigars are part of Miami's DNA, which makes smoking in the City of Neon Lights an unforgettable experience. Little Havana, the preferred cigar tourist destination, allows you to experience a slice of Cuba. This vibrant neighborhood offers you the chance to experience everything in Cuba, featuring cafeterias, bakeries, restaurants, bars, and captivating cigar lounges with live cigar roller demonstrations. In the mornings, start your day with breakfast of champions, a cortadito and a guava pastelito, followed by a leisurely stroll to select your cigar. In the afternoons, indulge in a refreshing mojito, savor a croqueta, and walk over to one of the many cigar lounges to acquire your cigar. Little Havana provides a unique opportunity to sample blends crafted at the small cigar factories on 8th Street (Calle Ocho). A piece of advice for aficionados: I recommend buying a handful if you discover a blend you love, as the blends keep changing quite often.

In contrast to the lively streets of Little Havana, Coral Gables presents a different facet of Miami's cultural palette. Known as the "city beautiful," its charm is its Spanish architectural flair. Right within the Miami Metro area, Coral Gables unfolds as a vibrant small town with shopping areas, restaurants, and cigar-friendly places all over. This city is a global fusion of Latin America, Europe, and Asia combined in one place. From Cuban cafeterias and Colombian, Peruvian, Mexican, and Nicaraguan restaurants to an Irish bar, a German Biergarten, Italian osterias, French fine cuisine, and a tremendous Greek taverna. Indian stores and excellent MiddleEastern family-owned restaurants, and markets. The best part is that most of them have cigar-friendly outdoor areas/terraces.

Smoking a cigar is integral to Miami’s soul which invite aficionados to embrace the unique and unforgettable experience offered by sun-kissed ambiances, rich Cuban heritage, and cigar-friendly havens in Little Havana and Coral Gables.
